Full range of business activities: PQ is a company leading in the field of Single Photon Counting Applications. The product line includes a large range of pulsed light sources, photon counting instrumentation, fluorescence lifetime spectrometers and time-resolved confocal microscopes. PQ developed a range of compact and easy to use picosecond diode laser systems with wavelengths from ultraviolet to infrared. To amend these laser products in TCSPC applications, PQ developed new technology for TCSPC, like the TimeHarp and PicoHarp TCSPC modules. Combining these, an outstanding range of time-resolved systems was created. A variety from compact systems to high-end modular lifetime spectrometers and complete time-resolved fluorescence microscopes and upgrade kits for Laser Scanning Microscopes are available. Role in the project: PQ will take care of the development of an integrated TCSPC system directly matched to the array detector and its integration into existing system infrastructure as well as interfacing of the new detector with application specifics in fluorescence Microscopy. Qualification for these roles: PQ's profound expertise is shown in previous developments of Picosecond Diode Lasers (PDL family), several innovative TCSPC systems (TimeHarp, PicoHarp), several fluorescence lifetime spectrometers (FluoTime family) and a trendsetting Confocal Fluorescence Microscope system, the MicroTime 200.
